Dave Gill Pontiac GMC wanted to create a friendly cartoon character to identify their secondary finance program. The term “Busting Bugs” is automotive industry slang for a vehicle that has been driven home by the customer. Heavy Content worked with award-winning illustrator Tom Mattix to develop the bug character and produce this fun and simple site. The site was promoted via radio, and the animation sequence also was used in TV ads.
